Background
Tanya is an experienced General and Developmental Paediatrician with extensive experience across all aspects of child health from birth through to adolescence. She initially trained at the University of Nottingham in the UK before migrating to Australia in 2002, and completed her paediatric training at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, gaining her fellowship in 2009.
Clinical interests
She has a particular focus on behavioural and developmental paediatrics, including autism spectrum conditions, and is a member of the Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics (ASDP). During training, Tanya worked in a number of clinics including unsettled babies, sleep, behaviour, ADHD, learning difficulties, and encopresis/enuresis.
Hospital roles
In addition to working in private paediatrics, Tanya is the Clinical Director of Paediatrics at Eastern Health, managing the paediatric units across Angliss, Maroondah and Box Hill hospitals.
